A Message to Prospective Parents and Carers from Mrs Anslow
It is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel our upcoming tours. I'm sure you can all appreciate that the decision was taken out of our hands with the new guidance and regulations. Your health and safety, as well as that of our school community, is of utmost importance to us.
We are still hoping to offer tours subject to the restrictions being lifted and are looking to host these during the week beginning 7th December. I know some of you have booked on to the January dates that were available. If you have not moved your dates, we will 'lift' your dates and place your dates and times within that week, so if your tour was booked on Wednesday 25th November at 10am, your tour will now be on Wednesday 9th December at 10am. Please bear with us while we get the new times/dates out to you. We are also hoping that we will be be able to share a video with you soon too.
These will be individual tours and so anything personal to your child/ren can be discussed. We appreciate some of you may need more time for discussions, in which case we can book in separate phone conversations following your visit.
If you have not yet booked on the tours, the booking form can be found here. There are limited spaces left for the week beginning 7th December.
By agreeing to visit the school, you will also be agreeing to the following terms:
- only parents from the same household can attend in any one visit. If any non-resident parents want to see the school, this would have to be done in a separate visit.
- as we will be inside, we would require that masks are worn.
- we may use your details, if required, for NHS Test and Trace purposes.
- you must not attend your appointment if you show any symptoms of COVID-19.
Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate children attending the visits.
Applications for school places open on November 9th and the deadline is January 15th. Please find more information here.
I do hope I get to meet you all in the near future.
Mrs K Anslow
