On what probably seemed like the coldest day of the year, some of our pupils went to a Football Festival as organised by the Colchester and Blackwater School Sports Partnership at Northern Gateway.

The pupils took part in a few skills based games, which ended with a mini 5 a side tournament against other schools.

Mrs Llewellyn, who led the team on the day, said, "I'm so proud of the pupils and the teamwork and the sportspersonship they displayed." 

We are so fortunate to be able to take part in the sports festivals; we have a few more planned over the course of the year. Keep your eyes peeled for a brand new unveiling of our sports kit too!
