School Lunches

At Lakelands Primary School, supported by the Pabulum catering team, we strongly believe that lunch time is a key part of the day. 

We pride ourselves on the recreated family atmosphere of dining. Our staff will eat with the children, supporting them to develop and maintain healthy eating habits, as well as connecting with them and continuing to build relationships outside of the classroom.

The fresh, healthy meals are prepared on site, and there are at least two options. Children from Reception to Y2 are eligible for a free school meal, however pupils can still bring in lunch from home if they wish. We do ask however, that if a lunch from home is provided that this guide is followed. Crisps, confectionery and drinks other than water or milk should not be included. The school also has a strict no nuts policy.
