Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival
1st Oct 2025

This week, our school came together to celebrate Harvest Festival; a time to pause, reflect, and think about how we can support others in our community. This celebration is always a special moment in our calendar.

We’ve been talking a lot this term about what it means to Be the Change, and our focus on compassion and generosity has really shone through, not just in what we give, but in how we show up for one another with kindness, time, and spirit. The response to our food bank collection has been incredible. Thank you to every family who donated - your kindness will make a real difference to local people.

This year’s Harvest Festival also gave our pupils the opportunity to shine through our school-wide focus on oracy. From projecting their voices to speaking with confidence and clarity, our children have worked hard to develop their performance skills. Watching them stand tall and speak with such assurance was a proud moment for us all. These are skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom.

I am incredibly proud of our pupils, not just for their performances, but for the empathy and thoughtfulness they’ve shown, espcially in the way they care for others and contribute to the world around them.
